After hosting a big bash for singer AKON, Shah Rukh Khan held a press meet for his upcoming flick Ra.One which stars Kareena Kapoor. AKON who will sing a song in the action thriller RA.One was present at the press meet with SRK and Kareena Kapoor. Kareena applied tilak to AKON forehead during the press meet.

A make-up artist who knew Dimpy says, “Dimpy is quite a bindaas babe, without any inhibitions and was cool about doing any kind of scene and wearing anything the director wanted her to do. Once she came to Aqua (club) wearing casuals, removed that to reveal a bikini, and jumped into the pool! She was second runner-up in the Sananda Tilottama in 2007. She is a party animal.”

Dimpy also dated a string of men, however never got serious with anyone. Now with Rahul Mahajan in her hand she is sure to be floored with lots of films.

Bollywood industry’s two hottest actors Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are going to inaugurate FICCI Frames 2020 together.

King Khan, SRK will be addressing the inaugural session of FICCI Frames 2010. FICCI Frames is an annual convention that is held globally by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.

FICCI Frames is a 3 day meeting that will feature everything about all kinds of media including TV,radio,gaming and cinema.

It will be great to see SRK and Katrina together.

Hip Hop singer Akon specially known for his song Smack that is in India for singing a song for SRK starrer action flick RA1 and the gracious host SRK threw a big bash for Akon who performed live at the bash.

Akon who performed at the bash said, “Shah Rukh had requested me to sing Smack That at the party.”

SRK talking about Akon said, “My kids love him, I love him. I want you all to give him the biggest welcome into the country that anyone has ever had.”

The bash was attended by Juhi Chawla, Riya Sen, Urvashi Sharma, Sonal Chauhan, Wasim Akram and others.

At the recently held Sport Illustrated Awards, Sachin Tendulkar who recently hit a double ton was honored with the most influential person in Indian Sports award.

Saif Alik Khan along with girlfriend Kareena Kapoor were eager to buy new IPL Team for Pune City however their plans were put on hold due to sudden change of regulations by IPL chairman Lalit Modi.

Talking about the issue Saif, says, “Yes, we were interested in buying the Pune team but the bidding process was cancelled and the rules were changed. Kareena and I had submitted our bid and there was one other person but Lalit (Modi) canceled it. It would’ve been great if we could have bought the Pune team and entered the IPL as I love cricket too.”

When Saif is quizzed about rebidding he says,”The whole bid was cancelled with no explanations given. It’s politics and big business. In the new system, you don’t need to be a billionaire or have 100 million in your bank account as guarantee to bid for an IPL team. In the last bidding, when the Pune and Ahmedabad teams were being auctioned only two people were bidding for the teams. Now with the changed scenario, there will be many bidders for one team.”

It would’ve been great to see Saif and Kareena add a touch of glamor to IPL like colleagues and IPL team owners SRK, Preity Zinta and Shilpa Shetty.
