Slumdog Millionaire actress Freida Pinto arrived at the Academy Award Red Carpet with a bang. She wore a lovely navy blue John Galliano dress.

As Freida graced the red carpet, she was quizzed by the media about her blossoming relationship with co-star Dev, to which she replied back, “We are good friends. It has been an wonderful journey.”

A visibly excited Freida said “I never ever imagined to walk red carpet at the Oscars. I never imagined it’ll happen. I will keep my fingers crossed for ‘Slumdog Millionaire.”

Indian child actors who acted brilliantly in Slumdog Millionaire showed up at the red carpet of 81st Annual Academy Award in all their crisp black tuxedos and gowns.

All six of them were “extremely” excited about being at such a gala event rubbing shoulders with Hollywood’s A-listers at the Oscar night.

“Its Unbelievable. Its still not sunken,” claims Tanay Chheda who played teenaged Jamaal. “Its unbelievable, yeah”, echoed Ayush Mahesh Khedekar who played the youngest Jamaal in the film.

The rest of the cast seemed equally thrilled at the red carpet!
