Dimpy Ganguly was a wannabe actress who has tried her hand in acting in sleazy B-grade flick Hello Memsaheb.
A director who knows the Bengali beauty, says, “She did some bold scenes in the Jeet-Priyanka Trivedi-starrer Hello Memsaheb. She has also done an item number somewhat similar to Mallika Sherawat’s Maiyya Maiyya track from Guru.”
So desperate was Dimpy to kick start her dancing career that she was ready to do any kind of movie, any kind of scenes and wear any kind of clothes, according to the director.
A make-up artist who knew Dimpy says, “Dimpy is quite a bindaas babe, without any inhibitions and was cool about doing any kind of scene and wearing anything the director wanted her to do. Once she came to Aqua (club) wearing casuals, removed that to reveal a bikini, and jumped into the pool! She was second runner-up in the Sananda Tilottama in 2007. She is a party animal.”
Dimpy also dated a string of men, however never got serious with anyone. Now with Rahul Mahajan in her hand she is sure to be floored with lots of films.
