Producer of Peepli Live, Aamir Khan recently organized the music launch of Peepli Live and spotted at the event were Aamir’s good friend Rani Mukherjee and director Karan Johar.

At the last day of Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai starrer Endhiran shoot, a very big party was thrown by the producer. At the party Aishwarya Rai touched the feet of megastar Rajnikanth and seeked his blessings.

A source says, After the last shot was filmed, Aishwarya touched the Superstar’s feet seeking his blessing. Rajini, who didn’t expect this, was shocked initially but soon composed himself and blessed her.”

Aishwarya who has been shooting for Endhiran for the last two years in Chennai also seeked the blessings of other seniors crew members and technicians.

When Shobha De had given bad review about I Hate Luv Storys, director Punit Malhotra and actress Sonam Kapoor made fun of her by saying, “Guys pls don’t take Shobha De seriously. She’s a fossil who’s getting no action and going through menopause.”

Shobha De in her recent article questioned the upbringing of youngsters Punit Malhotra and Sonam Kapoor, referring to them she said, “Unfortunately, these days, the film industry attracts all kinds of upstarts who reveal their own shabby backgrounds when they launch personal attacks on columnists. Surprisingly, even some of the newbie hot shot actresses resort to slanging matches when critics don’t automatically fall at their feet and go gaga over their looks\performance. These immature, spoilt filmy kids should take their cues from someone like a Karan Johar,who is their ultimate guru. You’ll never find this guy descending to pathetically low levels and trashing critics.”

Sonam Kapoor immediately apologized to Shobha De on her twitter page, she tweeted, “Mrs De I owe you an apology for getting personal. I’m ashamed for my momentary lapse in judgement. And apologetic.. Every writer and journalist and audience are entitled to their opinion and I respect that.”

Well good that Sonam Kapoor has taken the initiative to settle down the fight by apologizing.

For the promotion of Khatta Meetha, Akshay Kumar recently visited famous and ailing cartoonist R.K Laxman as he is playing the role of a common man based on R.K Laxman’s famous drawings.R.K Laxman who suffered from 3 mini strokes recently he is unable to speak and move, he even couldn’t recognize Akshay Kumar when he visited him.

When well known critic Rajeev Masand saw the photo, he tweeted, “Need innovative ideas 2 promote films in competitive times. But Akshay Kumar grinning like a jackass at RKLaxman’s hospital bed is a new low.”

Big B who is quite active on Twitter blasted Rajeev and said, “Rajeev .! Your fraternity will never pull you up for calling Akshay a ‘jackass’. Ever thought if the reverse were to be done … would your fraternity have spared Akshay if he were to address you as one ..?? Never expected this language from you !!”

So Rajeev Masand wrote a long letter to Big B which reads:

Dear Mr Bachchan,

In response to your message to me, my humble reply:

Dear Sir, Let’s consider: if my fraternity won’t pull me up for that ‘jackass’ comment, could it possibly be because they see some sense in my comment?

Or could it be because that’s what fraternity does: Stands by each other?

You should know, Sir.

I don’t remember your fraternity pulling you up for the attack on photographers by security outside your house during Abhishek’s wedding.

I don’t remember your fraternity so much as expressing outrage when Abhishek ‘allegedly’ bashed up a photographer on a film set.
But your concern Sir, is the use of the term ‘jackass’.

A strong word, perhaps, but appropriate I think, to express horror at the complete lack of sensitivity involved in a film promotion of that nature.

However controversial my choice of words, it is me taking a ‘stand’, Sir. Expressing my ‘opinion’. Two words your fraternity seems largely unfamiliar with.

Regarding your outrage/disappointment at my choice of words: Apologies, Sir. If expressing my opinion lowers your impression of me, then that is a cross I shall have to bear.

But finally, by your own logic, Sir: will your fraternity pull up Akshay for this tasteless gimmick? Or do you think it is innovative too?

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan who attended the FIFA 2010 final in South Africa with his kids Aryan and Suhana recently posted pictures of himself and his kids on Twitter.

The trio looks awesome in shades and Suhana looks like SRK’s carbon copy.

Farah Khan talking about Katrina’s belly moves says, “She is actually going to learn belly dancing. So, you will see her in a new very glamorous avatar.”

Katrina Kaif also praises director Farah Khan for making her give her the best shot, she says, “I’ve had a very good experience working with her. She is very ambitious.”

Rumors are out that Bipasha Basu is playing the role of a terrorist in her upcoming movie Lamhaa that is set in Kashmir.

A source from the movie says, “Bipasha plays Aziza, a sturdy leader of a women’s group in Srinagar. They are the moral police and repress any act that is considered unorthodox by the separatist.

As part of her duties, Aziza is taught how to use guns and is also trained in hand-to-hand combat ever since her childhood.The producers didn’t want to announce that Bipasha plays a terrorist fearing controversies.”

However Bipasha denis the same and says, “I play a young girl who has been manipulated by the person, who brings her up.Aziza believes she’s been trained in the right way, but later she undergoes a major transformation in the way she thinks.”

Producer Bunty Walia explains Bipasha’s role and says, “Bipasha doesn’t play a terrorist. She has been brought up by a separatist leader Haji Baba (Anupam Kher) and follows his ideology.Her character doesn’t understand that she’s being manipulated till a military intelligence officer Vikram Sabharwal (Sanjay Dutt) puts forth certain facts.
That’s when her ideology changes and she starts following peaceful ways by dialogue and ballot and supports the youth reforms leader Atif (Kunal Kapoor).”

We have also heard that Bipasha has done a fab job in the movie.

Kareena Kapoor has a fabulous figure and follows a sternous workout regime to maintain her figure, but at a recent Golmaal 3 shoot in Hyderabad, Kareena couldn’t keep her hands off from the delicious Hyderabadi Biryani.

A source from the set says, “Post pack up, Kareena would call for the typical Hyderabadi Biryani. She didn’t compromise on her yoga sessions but did gorge on delicious food. Kareena is a true blooded Kapoor after all!”

At a recent Kaun Banega Crorepati season 4 press meet , Big B got to talk about all the three reigning Khans of Bollywood - Aamir, SRK and Salman.

KBC 4 was first offered to Aamir Khan and then it went to Big B, when Amitabh was asked about the same he said, “I have no idea who was before me. All I know is that Sony came to me and I said ‘yes’ to them.”

When Big B hosted KBC1 and KBC2 the TRP’s were at their all time high and when SRK hosted KBC3 the TRP’s tripped and Big B at the same time also boasted about the high TRP’s of KBC 1 and KBC 2.

However when Big B was asked about the same now, he said, “I don’t agree with you. KBC 3 didn’t fail. Shah Rukh did a wonderful job. TRPs is something which I don’t understand”.

Big B was also quizzed about Salman’s show Dus Ka Dum which has been pushed to a later time because of KBC4 and he said, “Don’t worry, you can log on to my twitter or blog to know when it (’Dus Ka Dum’) will be launched”
